Why We’re Called Yount Street Glass

Well, the “Yount Street” part is easy: we live and work on Yount Street in Yountville, California. The “Glass” part is a bit more complicated. After more than nine years of making jewelry and accessories from recycled wine bottles, circumstances required us to abandon glass work and pivot to other creative eco-friendly endeavors, such as cork jewelry and small wire sculptures, and, really, whatever else we can think of that’s fun to make. We decided to keep the Glass part of our name, in homage to our roots.

Maddie

Maddie, our Director of Hospitality, is a two-year old rescue from the San Francisco SPCA. She loves playing with other dogs and sleeping on the couch. Her observation skills are excellent, especially when it comes to food that may, perhaps, fall to the floor.
